摘要: Radiotherapy and chemotherapy are given in multiple doses, which spaced out to allow the recovery of normal tissues between treatments. However, surviving cancer cells also proliferate during intervals treatments this process repopulation is an important cause treatment failure. Strategies developed overcome have improved clinical outcomes, now new strategies inhibit emerging parallel with advances understanding underlying biological mechanisms.
