摘要: The existence of interactions between many cellular proteins and various polyanionic surfaces within a cell is now well established. functional role such interactions, however, remains to be clearly defined. protein arrays, with large selection different kinds proteins, provides way better address number aspects this question. We have therefore investigated the interaction five polyanions (actin, tubulin, heparin, heparan sulfate, DNA) ∼5,000 human using microarrays in an attempt understand nature interaction(s). demonstrate that polyanion-binding exist contain multiple positively charged regions, are often disordered, involved phosphorylation processes, appear play protein-protein networks. Considering crowded interiors, we propose interact wide variety cells functionally significant manner.
