摘要: Abstract The present work proposes an advanced double quenching and tempering heat treatment based laser surface modification process of dual-phase spring steel. Multiple peening without coating utilized the decarburized as protective layer for further cold working process. electron backscattering diffraction analysis on crystallographic orientation individual grains phase map exhibits a perfect Also, high resolution transmission microscopic study explains strain induced microstructural grain refinement features plastic deformation behaviors. technique taking advantage that it induces large magnitude compressive residual stress with good thermal stability. micro nano-hardness profile provides better sub-surface mechanical properties. controlled average roughness is achieved in this course work. stress-strain characteristics tensile properties are analyzed through pre-fatigued specimens. fully reversed cycle fatigue test indicates current has substantially improves life
