摘要: Shot peening is a cold working process used to increase mechanical strength of metal parts under fatigue load. It introduces compressive residual stresses and surface hardening in the layers metallic materials by impact shot flow against controlled conditions. can be made using different kinds machines, most common which are pneumatic centrifugal ones. This article shows how kind influence results treatment. Four groups gears were peened machines (pneumatic centrifugal). The measurement hardness allowed evidence effect process. Contact tests showed that contact life influenced selected choice Almen Intensity should consider also machine used.
