摘要: Abstract The present paper reviews the reactions and path of acceptance theory known as “peak oil”. was proposed for first time by M.K. Hubbert in 1950s a way to describe production pattern crude oil. According Hubbert, curve is “bell shaped” approximately symmetric. Hubbert's verified with good approximation case oil United States that peaked 1971, now being applied worldwide production. It generally believed global peak (“peak oil”) will take place during decade 21st century, some analysts believe it has already occurred 2005 or 2006. its consequences have unpleasant social economical implications. not aimed at assessing date but offers discussion on factors affect diffusion concept oil” experts general public. based subdivision “four stages acceptance”, loosely patterned after sentence Thomas Huxley.
