摘要: Abstract We observe enhancement in the photoluminescence intensity up to a factor of three from single quantum well located near thin metallic film evaporated onto sample surface. The largest enhancements occur when silver thickness is approximately 40 A, but luminescence emitted coated greater than that untreated for coverages 170 A. interpret this as consequence surface plasmon excitation film, providing first indication coupling between plasmons and light well.
