摘要: A sample of 1979 community residents aged 15 years and above was assessed in a major survey health status consumption psychotropic medication. Interviews were conducted the subjects' home by psychiatrically trained physician, who actually inspected medical supplies. Of all subjects 6.9% (4.3% males 9.0% females) had used drug containing benzodiazepine at least once 4 weeks preceding interview. In same period 3.6% taken medication barbiturate, 2.2% medicine an opioid (mainly codeine), 1.8% neuroleptic drug, 1.5% antidepressant, 0.8% carbamine-acid derivative 0.1% lithium. High use associated with higher age, female sex, psychiatric morbidity, somatic reduced work capacity neuroticism but not social class personality factor extra- or introversion.
