摘要: "This study analyzes the vulnerability of Ethiopian farmers to climate change based on integrated assessment approach using indicators. The indicators consist different socioeconomic and biophysical attributes Ethiopia's seven agriculture-based regional states. each region collected have been classified into three classes, Intergovernmental Panel Climate Change's (IPCC 2001) definition vulnerability, which consists adaptive capacity, sensitivity, exposure. results indicate that relatively least-developed, semiarid, arid regions—namely, Afar Somali—are highly vulnerable change. Oromia region—a wide characterized both by areas good agricultural production in highlands midlands recurrent droughts, especially lowlands—is also vulnerable. Tigray region, is drought, negative impacts comparison with other regions. Thus, investing development underdeveloped regions Somali Afar, irrigation for high potential, early warning systems help better cope times drought-tolerant varieties crops species livestock can all reduce change." from authors' abstract
