摘要: Summary Background & aims The aim of the present animal study was to examine anti-hypertensive capacity two probiotic products combining blueberries and tannase producing bacteria Lactobacillus plantarum DSM 15313 investigate if such an effect is linked a change in gut microbiota. Methods Male Sprague Dawley rats were randomly divided into six groups nine each. Three animals treated with N G -nitro-l-arginine methyl ester (L-NAME) drinking water (40 mg/L) induce hypertensive state, other three not L-NAME (healthy rats). Two blueberry differing their phenolic acid content tested each rat received 2 g/day fermented powders for 4 weeks. effects on blood pressure, lipids, inflammatory markers, organ weights as well caecal microbiota healthy (non-L-NAME-treated) analyzed. Results After four weeks, consuming freeze dried probiotics had significant reduction pressure compared control rats. In induced hypertension there after weeks treatment. product higher acids reduced ALAT Furthermore, ingestion resulted changes Conclusions Blueberries L. plantarum have properties may reduce risk cardiovascular diseases.
