摘要: The study assessed the knowledge, attitudes and practices of cholera prevention preparedness in Ga-Mampuru village (Limpopo, South Africa). Interviewers collected data using a two-pronged method, namely household questionnaire (open- closed-ended questions) to assess knowledge about observations management disease. Additionally, interviewers took pictures with respondents’ permission. Ninety-six respondents were interviewed. Most (86%) indicated they knew how was contracted 84% indicating contaminated water as source. Ninety percent prevent contracting cholera. All generally that could be treated medicine received at health-care facility or worker. Fewer (58%) had specific such use rehydration solutions. high level biased. observed many not adhered to, like washing hands, toilet paper throwing waste yards. Therefore, community reached stage adequate spite fact aware risks risk-reduction measures.
