摘要: A basic investigation on the removal of cadmium(II) ions from aqueous solutions by dead Sargassum sp. was conducted in batch conditions. The influence different experimental parameters; initial pH, shaking rate, sorption time, temperature and concentrations cadmium uptake evaluated. Results indicated that could be described Langmuir adsorption model, being monolayer capacity negatively affected with an increase temperature. Analogously, equilibrium constant decreased increasing kinetics process followed a second-order adsorption, characteristic constants Activation energy biosorption calculated as equal to 10 kcal/mol. biomass used proved suitable for dilute solutions. Its maximum 120 mg/g. It can considered optimal result when compared conventional adsorbing materials. Thus has great potential removing especially concentration this metal is low samples such wastewater streams.
