The prevalence of ankylosing spondylitis among Norwegian Samis (Lapps).

摘要: A population survey of the Sami (Lapp) municipalities Karasjok and Kautokeino in north Norway revealed a prevalence ankylosing spondylitis (AS) according to New York criteria 1.8%. Eleven cases AS were found, 7 men 4 women. Only 11 observed aware diagnosis prior survey. Ten patients with possessed HLA-B27 (91%) which is found 24% general this area. It was calculated that 6.8% B27 positive persons had AS.
