摘要: Tellurite glasses are good candidates for high-speed optical communications due to interesting properties and hence they present higher Raman cross section as compared other glassy systems. In this work, tellurite with 65TeO2-15Li2O-20ZnO (TLZ1) 60TeO2-15Li2O-25ZnO (TLZ2) compositions doped different concentrations of Er2O3 (0.5; 1.0; 2.0 mol%) were analyzed. The samples synthetized by conventional melt-quenching method. gain coefficients these obtained from scattering experiments using 532 nm excitation. results presented a broad bandwidth 225 1160 cm−1 that become broader Er3+ concentration. Besides that, slight difference on the 760 cm−1 band was observed variation host composition. spectra quenching effect than 0.5 mol% 1.0 mol% TLZ1 TLZ2, respectively. This have been attributed in TeOx units each coefficient increased concentration values two orders magnitude silicate glasses. Therefore, materials studied potential new media amplifiers.
