摘要: Eucalyptus globulus Labill. is a short-fibre resource for pulp and paper production. Ten different E. genotypes with varied pulpwood quality chemical composition were evaluated under kraft pulp- ing conditions. Characterisation of the wood samples by thioacidolysis indicated that content syringyl units in β-O-4 linkages (S-β-O-4) was distinct studied genotypes. The highest S-β-O-4 levels detected lowest original lignin glucan levels. This group provided pulps final at higher yields. UV microspectrophotometric (UMSP) evaluation chips revealed have absorbances 278 nm (A ) secondary walls (S 2 ). During pulping, from S dissolved, whereas lignins middle lamella cell corner not removed even prolonged reaction periods, independently genotype. A values sig- nificantly lower less content.
