Overview of interport competition: Issues and methods

摘要: During the 1980s in northwestern Europe, port competition attracted significant attention from scholars. Port became an important phenomenon, particularly and 1990s, following rise of powerful East Asian economies, with world's top five container ports located region. The authors use mostly papers, addition to a few reports books, analyze outline main alternative methodologies that researchers have employed address major issues.
