摘要: Abstract Introduction: Mobile phones are ubiquitous in society and owned by a majority of psychiatric patients, including those with severe mental illness. Their versatility as platform can extend health services the areas communication, self-monitoring, self-management, diagnosis, treatment. However, efficacy reliability publicly available applications (apps) have yet to be demonstrated. Numerous articles noted need for rigorous evaluation clinical utility smartphone apps, which largely unregulated. Professional organizations do not provide guidelines evaluating mobile apps.
