摘要: Summary Given its high prevalence, wide distribution and remarkable capacity to cause severe mortality in shrimp, the infectious hypodermal haematopoietic necrosis virus (IHHNV) may deserve far more attention than it has received, as remains considered one of most serious problems plaguing global shrimp farming industry. Furthermore, real measurable impact over wild populations unknown. Undeniably, progress that we have reached today on knowledge geographical distribution, clinical signs, genetic diversity, transmission virulence help identify understand important aspects biology pathogenesis. However, information regarding molecular events occur during infection process is scarce. Thus, not be surprising find there are no therapeutic options available for prophylaxis or treatments reduce deleterious this viral pathogen date. The aim review integrate discuss current state concerning several IHHNV highlight potential future directions area research.
