摘要: We tested the effectiveness of overaccommodative speech as a way to improve comprehension and recall diagnostic medication regimen instructions. Forty younger (M age = 21 years) 82 older 71 adult women watched videotape an actor presenting instructions in either or neutral speaking style. Only with higher working memory performance levels benefited from speech. All groups had similar subjective reactions two types stimuli: They preferred attributes but person speaker. Finally, for not women, speaker predicted over above ability.
