Memory anxiety and memory performance in adulthood

摘要: The present study examined the contribution of general and domain-specific anxiety to prediction memory performance in a sample 350 young, middle-aged old adults. In preliminary stage this investigation, psychometric analyses revealed that predictive validity Anxiety scale Metamemory Adulthood questionnaire, used assess memory-related anxiety, could be improved by using an abbreviated version scale. This Memory subscale predicted level state experienced older subjects anticipation memory-demanding task. It was superior measures predicting actual performance, but only for oldest age group.
