摘要: Diabetic foot is a common complication for people with diabetes but it unclear whether the change initiated from skin surface or underneath plantar tissues. This study compared thickness of epidermis and stiffness total soft tissue among without complications. Seventy-two diabetes, including 22 neuropathies, 16 ulcerations, 34 pure diabetics complications 40 healthy controls participated in study. The epidermal layer was examined using high-frequency ultrasonography; were measured by ultrasound palpation system at big toe, first, third fifth metatarsal heads; heel pad. Compared control group, average reduced 15% diabetic ulceration 9% neuropathy, increased 6% diabetics. There an 8% increase 3 groups all testing sites (all p < 0.05), except first head. 0.05). becomes thinner tissues stiffen particularly persons who have neuropathy ulceration, which increases risk breakdown formation.
