摘要: OBJECTIVE: To examine possible changes of leptin concentrations after the acute administration glucose orally (OGTT). DESIGN: Seventy-five grams were administered per os in one group obese and normal weight individuals glucose, insulin measured at 0, 30, 60, 90 120 min. In an age matched control with similar BMI water was given before SUBJECTS: Twenty-seven women aged 34±1.57 y 37.1±0.8 kg/m2 16 women, 32±1.13 y 23.6±0.3 kg/m2 formed experimental group, while 10 females used as controls. MEASUREMENTS: Weight, height, BMI, body fat, baseline during OGTT. Variations above parameters calculated from area under curve (AUC). RESULTS: Fasting AUC higher than women. increased significantly comparison to its basal 30 60 min loading. Insulin also increased, expected. No correlation found between Basal did not correlate those insulin. However, a significant positive leptin. Finally, change controls administration. CONCLUSION: A increase loading individuals. such normal-weight
