摘要: Birth is an event that exposes the newborn baby to a high concentration of free radicals (reactive oxygen species (ROS)/reactive nitrogen (RNS)), which can contribute several diseases. The balanced equilibrium between ROS/RNS and antioxidant system key factor in preventing plethora involves endogenous exogenous molecules, from vitamins (A, E, C) enzymes (glutathione peroxidase, superoxide dismutase), metals (copper, zinc, selenium) other molecules (coenzyme Q10, melatonin) act synergistic manner deactivate radicals. A competent strongly dependent on intake radical deactivating feeding, either maternal or formula milk, with studies pointing breast milk has more powerful effects lowering infant's oxidative status. An improved understanding their mechanism action, relationships them, are factors comprehend all potential benefits human breastfeeding this matter. purpose review describe different research efforts methodologies evaluation TAS evaluate summarize contribution molecules.
