摘要: OBJECTIVE: The purpose of this study was to determine the cardiovascular effects fluoxetine in depressed patients with cardiac disease. METHOD: Twenty-seven (26% whom were female and whose average age 73 years) who had congestive heart failure, conduction disease, and/or ventricular arrhythmia studied an open medication trial fluoxetine, up 60 mg/day, for 7 weeks. main outcome measures rate rhythm measured by 24-hour ECG recordings, ejection fraction determined radionuclide angiography, intervals, blood pressure. Baseline values compared those at weeks 2 treatment. In comparable patients, these same baseline after 3 treatment a tricyclic antidepressant, nortriptyline, also examined.
