摘要: Abstract For the safe maintenance of microalgae and rotifers in mass culture, it is necessary to know exact threshold concentration ammonia for rotifers. In order determine this concentration, continuous culture technique was used as a sensitive method influence on reproduction rate rotifer Brachionus rubens. As expected, only unionized (free) affected population growth. Up 3 mg NH -N l unaffected. range 3–5 decreased, although no animals were killed. This decrease reversible could be overcome by lowering NH3-N concentration. At concentrations over 5 died within 2 days.
