摘要: Battering during pregnancy affects the health of both pregnant women and their unborn children. The purpose this retrospective study 488 primarily Medicaid-eligible postpartum was to identify constellation factors associated with violence. prevalence battering 7%, similar that found in other studies. Significant correlates included anxiety, depression, housing problems, inadequate prenatal care, drug alcohol use. Woman by a partner greater severity patterns than those experiencing abuse before only, or physical attack someone partner. These are important recognize nursing assessment women.
