摘要: Human bank blood erythrocytes were exposed to the mercurials p-chloromercuribenzoate (PCMB), chlormerodrin (CM), p-chloromercuribenzenesulfonate (PCMBS), and 1-bromomercuri-2-hydroxypropane (BMHP) for different time intervals, at concentrations in combination with n-ethylmaleimide (NEM) added before, 2-mercaptoethylguanidine (MEG) reduced glutathione (GSH) after mercurial. Binding patterns of cells effects on permeability measured. The results indicate that erythrocyte membrane contains multiple classes sulfhydryl groups, alteration which has a variety cell permeability. PCMB, PCMBS react least three sulfhydryls, two are associated sodium-potassium barrier and, when altered, result potassium loss, sodium accumulation hemolysis. BMHP reacts one is permeability, hemolysis isotonic solutions choline chloride or lactose. provide additional insight into structure function membrane.
