摘要: The history of in vitro plant culture spans nearly a century. Early attempts (Haberlandt, 1902) were unsuccessful; isolated tissues did not survive more than few weeks. While Haberlandt’s techniques successfully applied to animal (Carrel, 1912), it was until 30 years later that researchers reported encouraging results plants (Gautheret, 1934; White, 1934).
