摘要: Recently, membrane reactor technology was used to produce high-quality biodiesel because of its advantage simultaneous transesterification and separation. As the reaction involves two immiscible phases methanol (MeOH) oil (TG), a thorough investigation on for production with consideration chemical phase equilibrium (CPE) via modeling analysis, conducted in this study. A mathematical model developed based modified Maxwell-Stefan incorporation CPE. The formation TG rich micelles dispersed continuous MeOH most important hypothesis development. preliminary experiment results show that permeate compositions from were closely related CPE system, which highly depending molar ratio. free can only be obtained if retained by membrane. verification further confirmed within feed side able predict performance at an acceptable accuracy. © 2012 American Institute Chemical Engineers AIChE J, 59: 258–271, 2013
