Girls' and women's unmet needs for menstrual hygiene management (MHM): the interactions between MHM and sanitation systems in low-income countries

摘要: While the sanitation sector is gaining increased recognition in policy and research, its inherent inter-linkage with menstrual hygiene management remains an under-researched subject. This review explores knowledge about beliefs behaviors, how women girls currently handle their monthly menses relation to existing systems low-income countries. It further used materials are disposed of, consequences of different disposal practices for functioning systems. Conclusions point towards inadequacy research area management.
