Enhanced electric fields near gratings: Comments on enhanced Raman scattering from surfaces

摘要: We report calculations of enhanced electric fields near gratings which show that as the amplitude grating is increased, radiative damping surface polaritons on limits maximum field to modest values. then comment possible implications this result origin very large Raman signals found for adsorbed species certain metal surfaces.
