摘要: Tetracapsuloides bryosalmonae (Myxozoa) is the causative agent of proliferative kidney disease in salmonids. We assessed differences intensity T. infection between brown trout Salmo trutta and rainbow Oncorhynchus mykiss from clinical phase onwards. Specific pathogen-free fish were exposed to spores under controlled laboratory conditions sampled at 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 17 wk post exposure (wpe), transmission infected bryozoan Fredericella sultana was observed. Parasite load determined kidneys by quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR), parasite stages detected kidney, liver, spleen tissues different time points immunohistochemistry. successfully transmitted F. colonies but not trout. Body length weight did differ significantly control during all points, while differed compared controls 10 wpe. qRT-PCR revealed that higher with Immunohistochemistry showed high numbers intra-luminal (sporogonic stages) low pre-sporogonic stages.
