摘要: Abstract Objectives In fast ball sports like beach volleyball, decision-making skills are a determining factor for excellent performance. The current investigation aimed to identify factors that influence the process in top-level volleyball defense order find relevant aspects further research. For this reason, focused interviews with top players international were conducted and analyzed respect characteristics. Design Nineteen world-tour players, including seven Olympic or world champions, interviewed, focusing on factors, gaze behavior, interactions between two. Methods Verbal data by inductive content analysis according Mayring (2008). This approach allows categories emerge from interview material itself instead of forcing into pre-set classifications theoretical concepts. Results showed that, defense, decision making depends opponent specifics , external context situational opponent's movements intuition . Information patterns visual cues revealed general tendencies indicating optimal strategies support making. Furthermore, highlighted information, domain-specific knowledge. Conclusions present findings provide information perception, knowledge, two defense. results can be used inform practice untangle mechanisms underlying complex game situations.
