摘要: Rationale and Objectives The COVID-19 pandemic has greatly impacted radiology departments across the country. also disrupted resident education, both due to departmental social distancing efforts reduced imaging volumes. purpose of this study was assess differential impact had on volumes by training year modality. Materials Methods All signed reports were curated during defined prepandemic intrapandemic time periods. Imaging case analyzed a mean per basis quantify absolute percent change level. Change in total volume modality assessed. number workdays assigned outside normal reading room calculated. Results Overall decline interpretation from period 62.8%. R1s R2s greatest at 87.3% 64.3%, respectively. Mammography, MRI nuclear medicine 92.0%, 73.2%, 73.0%, During period, 478 days (mean 14.5 resident) reassigned room. Conclusion caused marked decrease tremendous education. interpretation, as well in-person teaching profound implications for Knowledge level will help residency programs plan future.
