摘要: Abstract Cement Kiln Dust (CKD) is a waste material that considerably produced in high volume during the cement production process. In this study, effect of CKD as filler on low-temperature characteristics hot mix asphalt (HMA) has been investigated. Laboratory program composed evaluating HMA durability against freeze–thaw cycles using indirect tensile strength test and analyzing fatigue behavior at four temperatures 20, 0, − 10 − 20 °C four-point flexural test. Furthermore, regarding existence heavy metals compounds, environmental evaluation carried out by applying toxicity characteristic leaching procedure (TCLP) According to obtained results, mixes containing demonstrated better resistance compared control mixture limestone (LS). Moreover, exhibited higher life for all decreased decreasing temperature. However, lower strain levels 150 microstrain, studied were extent similar even was reducing testing temperatures. addition, findings TCLP showed amount leachate from low satisfied required criteria.
