摘要: ostsurfacedroadsaremadeofflexiblepavementwhich requires a huge investment in terms ofinstallation and maintenance. One of the mostseriousproblemsisstripping, whichisthelossof adhesion between asphalt coating aggregate thebituminous mixture, caused by existence moisture.Stripping might result different types distress such ascreep, raveling, rutting, shoving, cracking low stability.Hot mix (HMA) environmental damage (stripping)is material compatibility problem. If materials arecompatible, they will form strong long-term bonds, sothe HMA resist stripping. However, if has poorbonding, its resistanceto strippingwill belower. Inthis case, the bonds should be enhanced or combinationsshould adjusted to achieve satisfactory performance.Stripping is one most difficult conditions identifybecause it can take numerous forms influenced bydifferentvariables, someofwhicharerelatedtothematerialsforming (i.e. aggregate, cement anti-stripping agents). Other variables are connected theweather conditioning, compaction, air voids, testing method, handling storage additives. Moreover, stripping arate process based on viscosity/temperature dependencyof bituminous binders. Also, occurs as function ofthe surface tension bitumen.
