Problem-based learning in university education: do psychological preferences make a difference?

摘要: Problem-based learning method is widely used in different levels of education. In this article, we examine what the role psychological traits problem-based learning. measurement personality a questionnaire based on Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) framework. MBTI framework consists four dichotomous types that differentiate between how individuals mix with others social basis (extroversion vs. introversion), search out information (practical creative), make decisions (analytical beliefs), and relate to environment (structured flexible). We have analysed data characteristics performance measures 179 master level university students who participated course which approach was as principal pedagogical method. Results show females perform better than males, but when analysing statistically significant differences were not found. Still it can be said structured had somewhat grades flexible ones.
