摘要: The phyto-oestrogen contents of the 1998 UK Total Diet Study (TDS) food group composites were determined. Each TDS set consisted composite samples, one for each 20 designated groups. These then represented average consumption all individual elements in group, processed into form which they consumed. In TDS, bread, meat and fish groups contained >5 mg kg−1 isoflavones (daidzein, genistein glycitein). Individual from groups, miscellaneous cereals, other vegetables, fruit products nuts >1 mg kg−1. After weighting an estimated daily intake 3 mg day−1 combined isoflavone aglycones was obtained sample collection model (adult) consumer. dietary phyto-oestrogens is higher than previously due part to use soya foods.
