摘要: The purpose of this study was to examine the extent community participation in selected CommunityBased Ecotourism Projects Brong-Ahafo Region. sample for 281 respondents including 14 opinion leaders. Data were collected using questionnaires and interviews. findings showed that residents involved decision-making, implementation monitoring Community-Based Projects. In general, socio-demographic characteristics projects did not significantly have impact on participation. Barriers religious beliefs, lack government support, funds, appropriate knowledge tourism co-operation by some residents. It recommended through rural banks area should initiate a special related micro-finance scheme communities. Additionally, support local communities improving infrastructure provide enough security region.
