摘要: Unlike neuronal circuitry in the striatum, which is rich a wide variety of neurotransmitters and modulators, neurochemical composition motor thalamus1 relatively simple. The two major it are glutamate GABA. Glutamate appears to be neurotransmitter cerebellothalamic (Nieoullon et al., 1984) corticothalamic synapses (Fonnum 1981; Young 1981, 1983; Deschenes Hu, 1990), whereas GABA released by axonal dendritic local circuit neurons (LCN), terminals nigro-, pallido- reticulo-thalamic afferents (DiChiara 1979; Houser 1980; Penney Young, Ilinsky 1997; 1999). In addition, there also diffuse cholinergic input thalamus derived from brainstem basal forebrain (Heckers 1992), but its role primate thalamic nuclei has not been evaluated.
