摘要: The major flow of carbon in succulent plants at night, from storage carbohydrate to malic acid, takes place via glycolysis. has been identified as glucan, some which conforms an operational definition starch. Free sugar pools contribute little acid production and were shown lie outside the mainstream flow. Further experiments suggested that environmental factors limit accumulation night do so by limiting rather than stimulating consumption.
