摘要: A series of 869 PKs was reviewed to determine the incidence allograft reactions in presence or absence possible predisposing factors. The average follow-up time after PK 46 months. factors studied were mild and severe preoperative vascularization, postoperative neovascularization, synechiae, inflammation. Other considered bilateral grafts, repeat recipient's age. Although there a significantly higher group with compared none these, cause-and-effect relationship could not be established for each factor when individually. Most these usually encountered combinations two more, creating large number small variables less statistical significance predicting first second reactions. similar factors, approximately 25%. Only synechiae neovascularization had some eventually leading permanent graft rejection. reaction also among patients grafts grafts. There an insignificant tendency decrease older patients, whether present not. Final visual acuity comparable between having total group. rejection continues most important cause failure. role donor-recipient antigen matching briefly reviewed.
