摘要: Abstract Octa(propylglycidyl ether) polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (OpePOSS) was employed as a nanocrosslinker of novolac resin to prepare the organic–inorganic networks. The crosslinking reaction investigated by means Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy via model reaction. Thermal analyses indicate that glass transition temperatures ( T g ’s) thermal stability networks increased with increasing content POSS. Contact angle measurements show nanocomposites displayed significant enhancement in surface hydrophobicity well reduction free energy. improvement properties ascribed presence POSS moiety place polar component phenolic thermosets.
