摘要: A novel cross-linker octa[(trimethoxysilyl)ethyl]-POSS (OPS) based on a Vinyl-POSS derivative was firstly prepared via hydrosilylation chemistry. The POSS applied to hydroxyl terminated polydimethylsiloxane (HPDMS) matrix prepare series of RTV silicone rubbers. chemical incorporation into PDMS by hydrolytic condensation reaction verified attenuated total reflection (ATR) infrared spectroscopy. Morphology, thermal properties and mechanical these rubbers have been studied means scanning electron microscope (SEM), gravimetric analysis, universal tensile testing machine dynamic respectively. results displayed pronounced enhancement effect the OPS stabilities as compared with polymers tetramethoxysilane (TMOS), tetraethoxysilane (TEOS) methyltrimethoxysilane (MTMOS) cross-linkers. Subsequently, decomposition representative rubber in nitrogen monitored TGA coupled real-time IR, degradation residues were also characterized FTIR. It found that cages beneficial increasing residues. striking enhancements improvements could be attributable synergistic dimensionality cross-linking networks resulting from three-dimensional structure cross-linker, plasticization self-cross-linked uniform distribution POSS-rich domains.
