摘要: Objective To compare the complications of temporary diverting ileostomy with those colostomy for patients colorectal diseases. Methods Two independent researchers conducted a systematic search randomized controlled trials (RCTs) comparing in MEDLINE, Cochrane database, evidence-based medicine reviews and American College Physicians journal club, as well relevant reference lists articles. Five RCTs were found included this meta-analysis. All abstracted compared between groups. also assessed using tests statistical heterogeneity, pooling risk ratios Mantel-Haenszel fixed effects DerSimonian Laird random effects. Clinical heterogeneity was investigated by examining methodology selection described each trial. Results Temporary significantly more likely to cause stoma cancer undergoing elective resections, infectious wound complications. tended post-closure surgical Conclusions There is not yet strong case superiority one over another all patients. In regard, large, well-conducted RCT still needed.
