摘要: Seed coat color in soybean is controlled by the classically defined I (Inhibitor) locus. The seeds of most commercial varieties are yellow due to presence a dominant allele locus (I: seed coat, or i i : pigmented hilum and coat), which inhibits pigmentation. Analysis spontaneous mutations from (yellow coat) i (pigmented has shown that these correlated with deletion duplicated chalcone synthase gene-1 (CHS1) region. In current study, we isolated CHS1 region cultivar I/I genotype (cv Miyagi shirome) determined its structure. results showed contained intact regulatory coding regions. We designated as ICHS1. hypocotyls shirome, cDNA derived ICHS1 mRNA was identified reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) analysis, whereas immature coats it suggested amount transcripts and/or another type (CHS1.1) very low. Interestingly, shirome genome genotype, closely linked truncated CHS3, sequence comparison this cluster probably arose CHS1–CHS3 1.8-kb event.
