摘要: New simulation results obtained with the Hamburg Atmosphere General Circulation Model ECHAM-4 under maximum glacial boundary (LGM) conditions confirm paleotemperatures on Greenland determined by borehole thermometry. The disagreement between δ18O isotope based temperatures and of LGM is not only reproduced model, but provide a plausible explanation: Paleotemperatures inferred from measurements in ice cores are biased substantially increased seasonality precipitation over during LGM. During winter much more zonal circulation prevents effective transport moisture to sheet, therefore reduces contribution isotopically strongly depleted snow annual mean signal.
