摘要: Infection remains the principal cause of morbidity and mortality in patients with severe granulocytopenia. The interrelationships between fever, neutropenia, infection disease status are complex. Neutropenia can be associated bone marrow malignancies, at various stages or relation to remission induction therapy, even infection. Patients acute leukaemia often present neutropenia due failure as a result leukaemic cell infiltration. It is not clear whether suppression nonlymphocytic stem activity it purely occupancy space compartment by cells. Many chemotherapeutic drugs used treat depress impair granulocytopoiesis; this reduces cellular immunity finally may influence humoral response an unpredictable way. In addition their effects on marrow, many mucosal damage ulceration, which promote spread potentially pathogenic microorganisms oropharynx intestines.
