摘要: Exosomes are endosomal-derived nanovesicles released by normal and tumor cells, which transfer functionally active proteins, lipids, nucleic acids between cells. They important mediators of intercellular communication act on the adjacent stroma as well in periphery. Recently, exosomes have been recognized to play a pathophysiological role various diseases such cancer or infectious diseases. Tumor cell-derived (Tex) shown promotors educating non-malignant cells provide supporting microenvironment, helps circumvent immune detection host supports metastasis. However, Tex with anti-tumor, immune-activating properties were also described reflecting complexity exosomes. Here, we assess extracellular microvesicles/exosomes messengers affecting NK cell function health disease discuss molecular basis for differential impact activity. The composition/load mechanisms regulating their release remain unclear need be further analyzed facilitate development new treatment options targeting exosomal machinery.
