摘要: Guided by high-level quantum-chemical calculations at the CCSD(T) level of theory, first polyatomic germanium–carbon cluster, linear Ge2C3, has been observed high spectral resolution in gas phase through its remarkably complex fundamental antisymmetric C–C stretching mode ν3 located 1932 cm–1. The observation a total six isotopic species permits derivation highly accurate value for equilibrium Ge–C bond length. present study suggests that many more might be detectable future using combination laser-ablation techniques production and high-resolution infrared and/or microwave spectroscopic detection.
