摘要: Abstract The sharp increase in e-waste derived from great consumption of electronic products has become a potential global environmental challenge. Limited information is available about the detrimental impact on aquatic organisms. present study investigated expression detoxification-related genes and life-history parameter changes Daphnia magna exposed to leachate, simultaneously integrating with chemical analysis typical pollutants leachate. aims at assessing impacts invertebrates providing insights into its toxic mechanisms. results showed high concentration heavy metals like Cu (1657.14 ± 259.3 μg g−1, DW) persistent organic compounds polybrominated diphenyl ethers (7831.32 ± 1273.86 ng g−1, stream sediments near dismantling areas. Chronic exposure these can affect growth reproduction D. magna, resulting significant development retardation, decreased total egg production per female, even smaller body size. Expression some detoxification reproduction-related including DappuHR96, CYP360a, P-gp, EcR, CYP314 Vtg exhibited different response patterns depending leachate concentration. E-waste may disrupt processes magna.
